Fox Whole Family Gala 2019
Combating breast cancer while supporting breast cancer survivors and working to strengthen leadership skills of the underprivileged youth. Inspired by his mother Lorraine Fox, a breast cancer survivor, Sacramento Kings De’Aaron Fox along with his family established the Fox Whole Family Foundation to serve women whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. Understanding how this unfortunate diagnosis can devastate families, De’Aaron is committed to making a difference by advocating for increased awareness, testing, and treatment for women fighting this disease. De’Aaron understands that it will take a team effort to win this battle. The Fox Whole Family Foundation will collaborate with local organizations in the Houston and Sacramento areas who have already shown a track record of commitment to combating breast cancer.

Equally important to De’Aaron is the importance of ensuring our underprivileged youth have an opportunity to experience success and leadership. De’Aaron recognizes the role athletics plays in developing leadership skills and providing positive experiences for youth. His work with local schools reinforces his belief that we can change the future of our youth by providing solid programs that emphasize academics, athletics, and good citizenship. The Fox Whole Family Foundation is committed to working with local organizations that support children’s programs that help to build self-esteem and provide leadership opportunities through academics and sports.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
On Friday, October 7, 2022, Albie Aware teamed up with the Sacramento Kings, Kaiser Permanente and the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District to surprise breast cancer survivors and their families with tickets to the October 14th Sacramento Kings Breast Health Awareness game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Riding in on Metro Fire’s Cancer Engine, De’Aaron Fox greeted the survivors and their families.
